I have used Plantronics products for the past 15 years in Call Centers across the United States, and they have never disappointed. This product is stellar. They are reliable and solid. Would recommend plantronics for any call center professional out there.

It's rare that a product actually accomplishes the exact opposite of what it purports to do, but here we have just such an item. The Plantronics website has an excellent presentation of the product features that this product is supposed to generate. If only it were so! Instead of creating a pleasant environment on the telephone line for business communication, this product creates a such a loud humming racket that regular conversation is impossible! Whoops! This product is just an embarrasment for a company like Plantronics that has a generally solid commercial reputation. Meanwhile, I say to prospective purchasers: Forewarned...Forearmed.

My job involves being on the phone for extended periods throughout the day and my customers and I often times found it difficult to hear each other. Since using this amplifier I must say that the audio quality (both headset and microphone) of my phone calls have improved tremendously. This has definitely had a positive effect on the relationship with my customers. The only complaint I have is that a list of compatible headsets should be listed in the product description as it wasn't compatible with my existing Panasonic headset and as such didn't work initially when I received it. I then purchased the Plantronics HW261N Binaural Headset and it worked perfectly. I will be recommending this and the headset to my fellow coworkers.
